Saturday night I attended a Christmas concert at a local church in my area.  It was lovely, if more formal than perhaps is my style, but some
friends invited me and I went.  After the concert was over I was out in the foyer when a friend came up to me and said, “People are stilltalking about the Collingsworth concert!” and gestured across the room as if to say that a group of folks were discussing it just then.  I smiled.  It definitely was a night to remember.

Did you make itDec 3 (29) to our Christmas with The Collingsworth Family concert?  If you didn’t, to quote one attendee, “You missed a big one! One of the best in the industry.  We were blessed!”

Yes, it was Music for the Master’s first sold-out crowd!  We had folks sitting back into the foyer (the auditorium opened into the foyer) and Phil Collingsworth said it was, “The best lookin’ can of sardines” he’d ever seen!  If Jesus tarries, we’ll have to have them back, but even the church folk said that when we do, we’ll have to find a bigger venue!
The church did a wonderful job decorating the platform and Kim Collingsworth was in awe of it that afternoon.  I think they said they’d never seen a more beautifully-decorated stage.  The Collingsworth ladies were lovely in their Christmasy gowns and even Brooklyn’s baby, Emma, was decked out  . . . and dying to sing!

It was evident that this family loves Jesus and wants to lift Him up above all else.  We praise the Lord for such a wonderful celebration of Christmas and trust that God worked in many hearts that night to accomplish His eternal purposes.  Enjoy a few visual memories from that night!

A big thank you to Trinity Evangelical Free Church!  What a bunch of servants we worked with that day from that church!  And speaking of servants, thank you to each one of our volunteers for all your hard work and your willingness to go the extra mile that made the evening run so smoothly!
