————————–
Needless to say, if you missed the Booth Brothers concert, you missed an amazing night of music, fun and solid gospel preaching. Scott, I didn’t want the evening to end, either, and I pretty much told the guys so. Everyone in the room knew there was something special happening that night — including The Booth Brothers! So when Michael Booth hinted multiple times that they’d like to come back, at one point the audience roared. And following the concert the Music for the Master board immediately asked, “When?” So we’re working out the details now! Stay tuned!
Many were especially moved by Michael’s clear, concise presentation of the gospel. Paul Ridgeway, who had done a pre-concert interview with Ronnie Booth on KKMS, insisted on a post concert interview where he broke down, briefly, telling Ronnie, “I’ve never heard such a clear gospel message for the lost.” (You can hear that 10-minute post-concert interview, but you’ll have to slide through the news at the top of the hour. It’s worth it!)
As our Web site states, “Music for the Master exists to encourage, edify and exhort the Body of Christ by promoting God-honoring music and informing believers of the opportunities for worship through gospel music that are available across the state of Minnesota. Our prayer is that this vehicle of music can also be used to provide a witness to the lost about the love of God so that they can experience eternal life by accepting His gift of salvation provided through the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ.”
The Booth Brothers fit snugly into this mission. So if you missed them this year, I hope that when we announce, shortly, their next scheduled appearance in the Twin Cities, you’ll mark your calendar and plan to join us. If everyone who came brings one friend with them, we’ll pack the house! It’ll be GREAT!
Michael, Ronnie and Jim — Thank you!
